Who We Are
Nuit Blanche Edmonton Society is a not-for-profit organization that produces a bi-annual major contemporary art event with the next major event scheduled for September 2018.
Our mission is to bring Edmontonians and contemporary art together to transform our urban spaces and imagine the possibilities of sites and people congregating.
Nuit Blanche Edmonton Society is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors made up of individuals committed to our vision. We are currently seeking amazing people to complete our complement of skills as a Board. We are specifically seeking individuals with working knowledge in:
- Fundraising and sponsorship
- Community engagement and activation
- Volunteer coordination
- Marketing and outreach.
Board commitments are for a two-year term, with the possibility of additional terms, if mutually desired. The estimated time commitment including board meetings (10 per year), committee work, and other ambassador and community activities would be approximately 6 hours per month. It is also required that each director take an active leadership role in fundraising and serve on one committee. We are seeking a diversity of outlooks and backgrounds that reflect the city we currently live in.
If you are a passionate and community focused individual with a deep interest in contemporary art and people please contact Board Chair, Todd Janes at email@example.com with your resume or CV and a brief introduction outlining your interests.
